***Process times vary between next-day shipping and up to 3 weeks. Purchases are filled in the order they are received. Please understand I will do my best to fill as many orders as possible prior to the start of the knit along. However, I am a one-woman show so it’s possible it might take a bit longer. Thank you so much for your patience! I appreciate it very much.
I’m so excited to welcome back Jessica Ays of Double the Stitches!
Jessica and I first collaborated in 2020 and now she’s back with another gorgeous design: Sea Glass Memories Shawl. This is the perfect knit for these transitional weather days.
Each kit includes:
- A download code for the pattern
- 1 – 100g skein of naturally dyed yarn
Here’s what Jessica has to say about her brand-new pattern:
“The Sea Glass Memories Shawl is inspired by those remnants of discarded glass objects turned into enchanting treasures that grace our shores. Worn and polished by the ocean’s tender embrace over time, until they radiate a mesmerizing frosty appearance becoming spectacular gifts from Mother Nature and coastal waters.
This asymmetrical shawl starts out with just a few stitches and is the perfect pattern for a gorgeous solid, tonal, or very gently variegated skein of fingering weight yarn. Want a larger shawl? Just keep knitting! This shawl is simple to adjust for a larger size by continuing on with additional repeats.
The elegant lace stitches mirror the allure of sea glass, capturing light in a manner reminiscent of the memories kept in glass jars on windowsills.
The lace is simple to follow, and the only stitches used are knits, purls, yarn overs, k2tog, ssk, and m1L.
The pattern is fully written and the repeat is charted, so you can take your pick to work from! And a Stitch Count Table is included to help keep you on track.
Ultimately, this shawl is more than an accessory; it’s a reflection of our connection to the sea, the coastline, and the stories they whisper. It’s a celebration of taking unwanted fragments and shaping them into something exquisite.
Wrap yourself in a bit of magic inspired by the ocean, and allow its intricate tales to resonate as you revel in the timeless allure of the seaside no matter the season.”
While I do my very best to recreate each skein to look like the next, they are dyed by hand with natural materials and can vary even within a single batch. You can be sure each one will be unique. It’s the best thing about knitting with nature! (Don’t forget: whenever you knit multi-skein projects, it’s best practice to alternate skeins every couple of rows.)
Please note: I do my absolute best to accurately photograph color. However, due to differences in screen displays, the yarn you receive may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.
As always, every skein purchased plants a tree through One Tree Planted AND $1 is donated to Harmony Farm Animal Sanctuary in Sisters, Oregon. Donations are made on the first Monday of the month. See Our Values for the most up-to-date information.
THESE LINKS WILL GO LIVE AFTER THE PATTERN OFFICIALLY RELEASES.

***Hand wash cool***
Great care was taken to ensure dye was set properly. However, it is normal for natural dye matter to continue to rinse for the first few washes.
